Hi, my name is Malia and I’m the creative eye behind the lens of Lil Dreamers Photography. My experience with photography began when I was a child and my grandmother used to do photoshoots with me. I started taking photography classes in High School where my passion for the art only grew. I loved the entire process of developing the film in the darkroom and how much emotion could be captured in one image. The transition to digital photography came when I entered Academy of Art University. I graduated AAU with a degree in digital photography and a whole new appreciation for the art. 

I combined my passion for photography and my previous career of being a nanny to specialize in maternity, newborn, and family photography. I’ve taken continued education in safety from the Academy of Newborn Photography, and clinics with California photographer Ana Brandt.

As a mother myself, I understand the importance of these fleeting moments we’re given. Not only do your bodies deserve to be celebrated for the life it’s grown but our children are only this small once so I’m passionate about creating timeless pieces of art for your family.
